Data ingestion & integration
We connect the systems where your information already lives and bring it into one place, automatically and repeatably.
The challenge
Information is scattered across departments, formats and applications. Every area keeps its own copy, the figures never match, and putting a report together means requesting files by email and stitching them by hand. When someone spots an error, nobody can say at which point of the process it was introduced.
The solution
We inventory every source, design each load at the frequency the business actually needs, and validate what arrives before anything goes live. If a load fails, you hear about it before your customer does. Everything is logged: when it ran, where each figure came from and what was discarded during validation.
It's for your company if…
- Every week someone downloads files from several programs and combines them by hand to build the same summary.
- The same client has one record in the management system, another in the marketing tool and a third in the online store, and none of them match.
- A catalogue or price list is maintained twice in two systems, and one version is always behind.
- Reports are built on a copy of the data someone extracted days ago, and nobody knows whether it is still valid.
What's included
A documented source map
A document listing every source system, the data it contributes, how often it changes and who owns it. It stays with the company and is updated whenever a source is added.
Secure connections to the source
Each connection uses the channel the source system provides, with its own credentials and read-only permissions wherever possible.
Loads with retries and alerts
Each source has its own load schedule. If a load fails it retries on its own; if it still cannot finish, it sends an alert with the exact reason for the failure.
Agreed quality rules
Before data is published, rules defined with you are checked: totals that must reconcile, fields that cannot be empty, values outside their range.
Record-level traceability
Every record carries its source, load date and version: when a figure looks off, you can check where it came from and when it arrived, without asking anyone.
How we do it
Inventory and priorities
We walk through the systems and files where information lives, decide which one is the official source for each piece of data, and where to start.
First source live
We connect the source that saves the most manual work first. That way the full pipeline is validated on a real case before it grows.
Growing source by source
We add the remaining systems one at a time, each with its own checks. Every new source goes live without touching the ones already running.
Handover of operations
We leave the monitoring documented: what to check each morning, what every alert means and how to add a new source, so daily operations do not depend on us.
Key benefits
A single data entry point
Unattended loads
End-to-end traceability
FAQ
Our programs are old. Can they still be connected?
Almost always. If a system offers no direct connection, we work with scheduled exports or by reading its database, always without writing to it. The diagnostic identifies the route for each source before anything is proposed.
Does this replace the programs we already have?
No. Every system keeps doing its job: the integration only reads its data and brings it into one shared place. How each area works is left untouched.
Who watches the loads once the project is over?
The system alerts on its own when a load fails, and the handover includes training on what each alert means. If you would rather we do the monitoring, it is agreed as a separate service, with scope and price closed in advance.
Where does the data end up? Does it leave the company?
That is decided with you: on your own servers or on infrastructure contracted in the company's name. Either way, the credentials and access details are documented and belong to you.
